The File / Set Font command allows you to select only fixed-width fonts. This is done to ensure that the columns of printed reports line up.
If you want a greater selection of fonts, you may want to purchase a disk or CD ROM of fonts. But make sure that it includes fixed-width fonts.
Hangman
Modifying Hangman's Dictionary
Hangman's dictionary is stored in a file named HANGMAN.DAT which resides in the directory in which Hangman was installed. This dictionary can be edited with a word processor. For example:
Windows 3.1 and NT:
Run the Write program (in the Accessories group). Open HANGMAN.DAT and specify No Conversion. Make your changes and save the file.
Windows 95:
Run the WordPad program (Start Menu / Programs / Accessories / WordPad). Make your changes and save the file.
In either case, make sure the file has exactly one word per line, with no spaces to the left or the right of each word. Note: You can add foreign-language words to Hangman's dictionary. However, the letters can only be A - Z. So enter "cañyon" as "canyon", enter "straße" as "strasse", etc.
