The Photo Frame Program scales digital photographs for display on a digital photo frame.

Running The Photo Frame Program

  1. Launch The Photo Frame Program.
  2. Click the Source Folder button and browse to the folder containing the photos you want to display on a digital photo frame.
  3. Click Destination Folder and specify the folder where the photos will be written. For example, I specify the E: folder, which corresponds to the SD memory card for my digital photo frame.
  4. Click Add Folder or Add Files to specify folders or photo files that you don't want to display on your photo frame.
  5. Specify the options for your particular photo frame. The default values are correct for MUSTEK PF-A702BM photo frames.
    • Set the width and height values to your photo frame's native resolution.
    • Specify a quality of 100% unless you need to reduce the size of the image files beyond what scaling them will accomplish.
    • Check the Shuffle checkbox to permute the order of the photo files.
    • Check Add Margins to add black margins when the aspect ratio of the original photograph doesn't exactly match your digital photo frame's aspect ratio.
  6. Click Reduce, and the photos will be reduced and copied into the destination folder.

Requirements

This source code was developed with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. The Photo Frame Program requires .Net 2.0.
